Prof. Dr. Hatice Köse is a faculty member at ITU Computer and Informatics Faculty, Artificial Intelligence and Data Engineering Department. She coordinates the Cognitive and Social Robot working group as well as the Game Lab. She works in the fields of social robots, human-robot interaction, artificial intelligence and gamification. She especially works in the fields of education and health and for children with disabilities; she also takes part in national and international projects in these fields. She carries out studies using social robots and artificial intelligence on children having hearing disabilities, children with autism and children with cerebral palsy. She continues her research in the field of widespread use of artificial intelligence and robots in human life. She also carried out her studies related to “the first robot sign language teacher” developed in the world and “the first audiology hospital robot”, with the support of TUBITAK.
